Since 2013, small and medium-sized businesses, larger companies, clinical entrepreneurs, academics and researchers have been benefiting from our support to bring greater innovation into our health services.
In doing so we are helping to boost the economy as well as healthcare and we are stimulating successful innovation collaborations between the business sector, healthcare providers and universities.
We have designed this Innovation Exchange to help innovators understand the current challenges facing the NHS and connect innovators to the help they need. Developed by the West of England AHSN, with funding from the Office for Life Sciences, it is part of a network of similar services provided by AHSNs across the country.
The Innovation Exchange is part of a wide range of support offered by the West of England AHSN for anyone developing innovations for the healthcare sector. It provides access to all our business services in one place, helping to connect the local innovation ecosystem and provide the support you need at any stage of your innovation.
The Innovation Exchange offers:
- updates on local and national funding opportunities
- a range of business support services and business development programmes
- online guides, toolkits and resources
- information on our strategic partners, their services and opportunities for collaboration
- latest news and case studies on innovators we have worked with.
If you would like to find out more about how we might be able to provide you with more bespoke support, the first step is to complete our online innovation form.
