Last month, we brought together health and care leaders and innovators to connect and collaborate at our conference, where we had a dedicated Innovation Zone with a carefully curated showcase of 20 cutting-edge solutions and services, leading the way in health and care innovation.
Delegates got to meet the innovators and learn more about an exciting array of solutions, all with the potential to drive change and improve the lives of people in our local communities.
Getting people talking
A series of three interactive panel discussions took place in the Innovation Zone during the course of the day. They explored the three main stages of an innovation’s journey on the path to adoption and spread across our health and care systems: discovery, development and deployment.
Panel session 1: How can we best work together to support the development of promising solutions to meet health and care needs?
Chaired by Alex Leach, Deputy Director of Programmes at Health Innovation West of England, our first discussion focused on how we can best work together to support the development of promising solutions to meet health and care needs. The panellists were Febin Basheer, GP and a Primary Care Clinical Lead at Health Innovation West of England; Nick Gompertz, founder of EarSwitch; and Dr Stephanie Jay, Enterprise and Innovation Manager at UWE Bristol.
