Event summary
As part of the University of Bath 50th Anniversary celebration, ALAN is pleased to announce that their September networking seminar will be on Virtual Reality and will focus on application of vision and imaging systems to support health and wellbeing.
The Assisted Living Action Network holds regular networking seminars to bring together business, healthcare professionals, service user groups and academic researchers to discuss the key issues and areas of unmet need. Their aim is to build up and facilitate new collaborations, to promote knowledge transfer and the uptake of research and create commercial opportunities for products or services

2.30pm: An opportunity to go on a tour of the newly opened Centre for the Analysis of Motion, Entertainment Research and Applications (CAMERA) research facility in the Department of Computer Science.
CAMERA has three principle research themes on which their activities are focussed: Entertainment Research, Human Performance Enhancement and Rehabilitation.
