Join Dementia Research (www.joindementiaresearch.nihr.ac.uk) is a nationwide online and telephone service that makes it easier for people to register their interest in volunteering for dementia research studies. There are a broad range of research studies available – from clinical trials testing new medication, to completing surveys.
The West of England recently became the first region in the country to reach 2,000 people signed up to the service. Join Dementia Research provides an easy way to signpost people to a full range of available studies, without the need to have an intricate knowledge of what research is going on.
