Event summary
Whole System South West MSK Regional Event to help transform MSK care outcomes and Quality of Care.
NHS England and ARMA are working with the South Regional Medical Directorate and the West of England AHSN, South West AHSN and University of the West of England to co-host a Regional MSK launch pad event in the South West of England, that will support a joined up approach to transforming Musculoskeletal (MSK) care and work with Sustainability Transformation Plans (STPs) footprints to support improvement in the quality of MSK care and outcomes in their areas.
This practical day brings together key stakeholders who want to improve services for people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions – including commissioners, patients, clinicians from all relevant disciplines, primary, secondary and community care, across STP footprints to understand what’s working well, what’s not and to explore data sources and national tools to help us gain insight to make much needed improvements.
The objectives of the event are:
· To run a practical event that brings together local musculoskeletal (MSK) stakeholders to share what is working and current challenges.
· To explore overlays of data to aid insight about where we need to focus.
· To kick-start discussions towards agreeing local priorities and actions which will have the greatest impact.
