Event summary
We’ll be leading a pop up university session on the first day of the Health and Care Innovation Expo in Manchester, exploring the evolution of citizen co-creation in the West of England AHSN, from ‘Design Together, Live Better’, (a project working face-to-face with members of the public with challenging health conditions that led to the development of three healthcare prototypes) to ‘hyvr, a unique digital ideation platform.
In this workshop, chaired by Olivia Butterworth, Head of Public Participation for NHS England, panellists will share lessons learned from two years of citizen co-creation projects, culminating in a demonstration of the new ‘hyvr’ platform. We’ll also explore how future engagement and co-creation activities can be delivered cost-effectively, at scale and in a way that increases accessibility for both citizens and SMEs.
The workshop will be followed by a Q&A session with the panel and attendees will have the opportunity to sign-up to ‘hyvr’ online.
