Sepsis Management Masterclass 2

Following the first regional Quality Improvement Masterclass on Sepsis Management in Swindon on 25th February 2015, you are invited to attend the second Masterclass in the series on Wednesday 10th June 2015 in Bath hosted by the South and West Regional Sepsis working group in association with the West of England Academic Health Science Network.

This connection event brings together staff working on or leading the improvement of recognising and treating sepsis in care settings across the West of England region including acute, community, mental health, ambulance trusts, primary care and commissioning leads in order to share practice around sepsis management across the region and continue to build a regional sepsis network.

Attendees will explore projects working on sepsis identification and response in the community, surgical sepsis, and new initiatives around point of care testing. Interactive afternoon sessions will support organisations in delivering the national CQUIN for sepsis, sharing progress on data collection methodologies, out-of-hours and community care.

This event would be particularly suitable for sepsis leads, sepsis specialist nurses, and local practitioners with an interest in patient safety and sepsis.

We would welcome attendees from across the health community, particularly surgical teams, community staff including out of hours and paramedics, GPs, commissioners, and junior doctors with an interest in sepsis or quality improvement.
