Event summary
This edition of our BioTuesday event is a ‘South West Health Tech & Medical Devices Showcase‘, that will provide a platform for new and emerging Health Tech and Medical Device companies in the South West region of the UK to share an update on their latest innovation. Companies presenting on the night will range from those specialising in wearables for health monitoring, self-care apps, machine learning analysis and much more besides.
It is a fascinating and exciting time for the Health Tech and Medial Device space, where companies are contributing to the revolution of modern healthcare. The evening will also feature some introductory keynotes including an IP and regulatory update for Medical Devices & Health Tech in the UK, a funding update and also insight into how companies can get their product to market, one the biggest challenges they will face in their development.
The event will take place at the Engine Shed, located next to Temple Meads train station in Bristol. The Engine Shed is a shared working and event space run by the Science Research Foundation whose core vision is to support an inclusive, sustainable and growing economy that benefits the whole region.
The evening begins with Registration and Networking at 5:30 pm, followed by presentations and showcasing at 6:00 pm. The event will come to a close at 9:00 pm after guests have had the opportunity to network over wine and nibbles.
