Q members from the West of England AHSN have submitted a number of project ideas to the Health Foundation’s Q Exchange, giving them the chance to develop these with the help of other Q members and to submit bids for up to £30,000 of funding.
We’ll find out in January 2021 if any of our projects have made the shortlist, at which stage Q members will be able to vote for their favourites.

- Community Pharmacy Service Remodelling: Change Management Project – submitted by Ellie Wetz
Supporting community pharmacy remodel service delivery away from core dispensing activity to patient-centered delivery; aiming to reduce pressure on general practice, out of hours, A&E and the wider care network. - ‘Start Well>End Well’ Enhancing psychological safety, team effectiveness and well-being – submitted by Vardeep Deogan (with Seema Srivastava, Lorraine Motuel, Oliva Donnelly, Jude Clipsom, Claire Zhang)
To roll-out and evaluate the ‘Start Well>End Well’ 3-step team procedure which was developed during COVID-19 to enhance team collaboration, effectiveness and well-being by fostering psychological safety and peer-to-peer support. - Promoting positive parenting rather than scaremongering during COVID19 – submitted by Alison Tavare (with Damian Roland and Sarah Neill)
COVID19 resulted in anxiety and mixed media messaging. However parent decision making during lockdown was generally proportionate and safe. We should celebrate and support this going forward. - From Covid to Frailty; Virtual Ward implementation across the system – submitted by Hein Le Roux (with Andrew Seaton, Charlie Sharp, Kathryn Hall, Kelly Matthews, Victoria Collins)
