John Macleod is Professor in Clinical Epidemiology and Primary Care and a practising GP. He leads research on the causes of health inequality, particularly amongst younger people. Since 2017 he has been co-lead of CAPC and for Bristol in the NIHR School for Primary Care Research. He is director of NIHR ARCWest, lead for Health Informatics in Bristol NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), and national lead for Applied Health Informatics across all the NIHR ARCs.
