Event summary
Are you part of a healthcare project team looking to learn more about adoption & spread? Why not join our free series of five free workshops!
Commencing 28 April 2021, this five-week course, held on Wednesdays from 09:30 to 11:30, can be joined as single sessions or one series.
Who should attend
The whole series is especially relevant to those working on live projects that they have already tested at small scale and which they want to spread, but we’re particularly encouraging project teams to sign-up two to three colleagues to the third session; a practical workshop to define core intervention and get it ready to spread. Free to attend, each two-hour session is standalone so you can dip in or join them all.
Led by the AHSN’s Academy team and Anna Burhouse, GenerationQ Fellow and NHS Director of Quality Development, topics include understanding the NHS adoption and spread challenge, leading adaptive change, pitching and evaluation techniques.
What the programme offers
Each workshop will be interactive and practical. If you or your project team encounter challenges in adopting and spreading best practice, new healthcare pathways, products and/or tech and want to consider how these can be tackled, these sessions will help.
The series will:
• Help you to recognise and identify adoption and spread challenges
• Learn techniques to help you build spread into your improvement approach
• Signpost you to resources and tools that are helpful for adoption and spread
• Show attendees how to access additional support through our West of England Academy.

Who should attend?

Attendees can be in any role and level within their organisation, for example from clinical, administration or facilities.
Attendees will be interested in applying learning to real-world scenarios either personal or professional.
Our academy works hard to welcome attendees from a broad range of backgrounds creating a safe and open environment for learning and sharing ideas.
