Building partnerships with VCSE organisations

Is your organisation interested in working more closely with VCSE providers in your area?

We know great things can happen when VCSE organisations and the Care and Health Sector work together. However, we also recognise there are some barriers to making this happen.

The West of England Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) is keen to better understand the possible opportunities and challenges and as a result, help build new partnerships for the delivery of health and wellbeing services. A VCSE accelerator programme is planned to support both sectors and we would like your help to shape this.

The AHSN has worked with NHS Providers and Commissioners and VCSE stakeholders across the West of England and now we would like to learn more from those who are working directly within the VCSE sector.

This exciting virtual event will give participants the opportunity to both shape the programme and understand what support may be on offer, as well as discovering some useful insights and resources.

Delegates will:

• Hear inspiring speakers from both the health system and VCSEs outline what can be achieved through partnership, and outline some of the challenges
• Provide and contribute to shaping the programme to address appropriate service needs.
• Hear from NHS England, on the national perspective and their plans to strengthen and develop partnerships between the NHS and VCSE sectors
