Event summary
Health equity is the goal of enabling all people the opportunity to achieve their optimal level of health. The Ten Principles of Health Equity were developed by Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex, led by Health Innovation Network Chief Medical Officer, Dr MaryAnn Ferreux, to ensure that we consider health equity in all our decision-making. They are based on latest best practice and evidence that has been proven to be supportive in promoting health equity.
Join this event to learn about the ten principles and how they can be adapted for your needs whether you are a commissioner, an innovator or anyone else working in the health and care sector. Hear about an example of a whole system approach to addressing health inequalities in Sussex, as well as an example of a local health equity project. There will also be time for a Q&A with the panel of experts.
