Event summary

Health Innovation NENC are supporting the efforts to create a regional digital inclusion forum.

During this forum you will the unique opportunity to hear from individuals whose personal stories will illuminate how digital tools and platforms have empowered them, improved their quality of life, and bridged gaps that once seemed impossible. This will not only highlight the practical benefits of digital inclusion but also help to understand the human impact of having access to digital resources.

The team especially honoured to have Olympian Shelley Holroyd as the host for this inspiring event. Shelley’s journey, marked by dedication, resilience, and a commitment to excellence, resonates deeply with the themes of the forum and how as a system we can help overcome challenges and achieve greatness, whether in sports, in life, or through embracing digital innovation.

In Shelley’s words “The session will enlighten everyone’s perspective of what digital inclusion truly means and bridge the divide that we see before us. “

Digital inclusion continues to be a national focus. The Good things Foundation and the Digital Poverty Alliance continue to campaign to eradicate digital poverty.
