Event summary
A webinar for innovators focusing on how health and care services are procured and delivered in UK and Canada is being held on Thursday 10 March 2022.
Delegates will gain an understanding of how to scale up and offer products to overseas markets. Attendees will also be signposted to further resources to help with next steps.
The free event is aimed at healthy ageing innovators based in the UK or Canada who have an established product or service and are looking to diversify into new (international) markets.
This 90-minute webinar including a Q&A session is being jointly hosted by the AHSN Network and the Canadian AGE-WELL network as part of a three-year international Innovation Exchange programme.

- Sheryl ThingVold, Senior Advisor of Health Venture Services in Canada will explore navigating Canadian health care, stakeholders and the issues to address when innovating in this market
- Alex Leach, Deputy Director of Innovation and Growth with the West of England Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) will provide insights to help demystify the complex NHS marketplace. Alex will also highlight the support available for companies with proven innovations aiming to work with the NHS
