Event summary
Finding ways of helping people to live longer in their own homes is increasingly seen as an urgent priority.
In this event we will explore the role that technology can play in assisting health and social care professionals to interact with individuals and to help them care for themselves in their homes. In previous events we have looked at the role citizens can play in developing solutions, however, in this event we will be specifically focusing on deploying technology solutions at scale.
Denmark is often cited as a model in the development of home- and community-based systems for the frail elderly population and thought leaders in developing the ‘commune’ approach to integrated care and community resilience. We have invited speakers from the world leading care technology cluster in Odense in Southern Denmark to share their methods and experiences with us.
The event is run in partnership with Enterprise Europe Network, who will run a business-business matchmaking session, there will also be a company showcase session which will enable Danish and UK companies the opportunity to demonstrate innovative solutions.
The programme
The ‘programme‘ includes 2 keynote speakers from Odensee Denmark, Peter Julius from Public Intelligence will share his experience gained over several decades from prototyping in living labs to successful large scale deployment in the community.
