The Thames Valley Wessex Leadership Academy would like to invite you to join in celebrating their annual Leadership Summit and Recognition Awards on Thursday 2nd March 2017 at Wokefield Park. The day is split into 2 sessions;
The Leadership Summit is an opportunity for attendees to experience first-hand the exciting work of the TVWLA team and partners. With the theme Future Focused Leadership, delegates will have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, attend a series of interactive workshops and visit the marketplace. The workshops will be based on the National Improvement and Leadership Development Strategic Framework: Developing People – Improving Care with sessions on Inclusion, Patient Leadership, Talent Management, Compassionate Leadership, Innovation and System Leadership. While there are a number of dynamic plenary sessions which give the opportunity to learn and share good practice, an important part of the day will be the opportunity to network and develop our community of innovative and inspirational leaders in Thames Valley and Wessex.
The Recognition Awards are a celebration of the achievements and successes of our most valued and hardworking leaders within the NHS. We understand that it can be a challenging environment, but TVWLA feels that it is important to take the time out to celebrate and value both individual and collective contributions; and to highlight the work that is being done to improve health and well being for local populations, and those who act as role models and inspirational leaders for the current and next generation of NHS staff across Thames Valley and Wessex. Winners of all awards will be announced in the afternoon session.
