Event summary
Join our seventh Polypharmacy Community of Practice session for presentations and shared learning from clinicians in the region who are in the process of implementing projects or service evaluations.
The session will explore:
- Identifying areas for change in practice/procedures through service evaluation
- Poster presentations on projects that have been completed by clinicians locally
- Gaining funding and support.
Presenters will include Dr Nigel Harris, Dr Lauren McTaggart, Emma Clarke and Safia Latif.
What is the Polypharmacy community of practice (COP)?
A network of passionate and enthusiastic clinicians who all working to address the system-wide challenges of problematic polypharmacy in the West of England (BNSSG, BSW, Gloucestershire). The COP is not like other meetings. There will be opportunity to discuss, share and learn from other colleagues and develop solutions to some of the tricky problems or issues around Polypharmacy.
Who should attend
This event will be most useful for healthcare professionals, including medical and non-medical prescribers from a range of professions, who share an interest in and passion for addressing inappropriate polypharmacy.
