How are these resources free?

This opportunity is available through The Swindon and Wiltshire Health and Life Science Innovation Hub (SW HLSI-Hub). The hub is a partnership of West of England AHSN, Wessex AHSN and Wiltshire Council, to support innovative activity of health and life science companies working across the Swindon and Wiltshire area. The SW HLSI-Hub has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.

SMEs working in the health and life science sector are invited to apply to the SW HLSI-Hub. Successful applicants can benefit from 15 hours of free 1:1 support on: Accountancy and Finance, Intellectual Property, Product Design and Launch and Compliance and Technical Assistance. In addition, SW HLSI-Hub members have support from a Healthcare Business Mentor and a Funding Support Service, can apply for a match funded grant of up-to £10,000.00 and can attend a four-day personal development programme to learn core skills in entrepreneurship, customer analysis, building a business case, funding strategies and market analysis.

Application deadline: Match funded grant applications close on 31 October 2018, with applications to the business framework accepted on an ongoing basis.
