Event summary
Digitally-enabled health and care has the potential to transform the sector and improve access, outcomes and experience for the population. However, it can also exacerbate and perpetuate health inequalities for those that are, or may become, digitally excluded for a variety of reasons.
In health and care we are already seeing the benefits of digital transformation, but how do we ensure we don’t exclude the people who most need to access these services, now, and in the future? This digital inclusion bitesize workshop will help the health and care system and industry partners understand and start to tackle this challenge.
Key topics covered:
• Why digital inclusion is a priority for health and care
• Barriers and enablers to digital inclusion
• What innovators can do to help make their products more inclusive
Led by Kath Sykes, Implementation Lead, Kent Surrey Sussex Applied Research Collaborative.
Who should attend:
All health and technology innovators, clinical entrepreneurs, digital app developers, health and social care digital leads.
