Connect is a researcher-led funding opportunity and supports small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in need of a funding boost to reach the next stage in the technology development pathway.
This is a two-stage funding opportunity. To apply for the first stage, you should submit an outline application. If invited to the second stage, you will then need to complete a full application.

Women TechEU
open-opportunity“A two-year EU-funded project funding and supporting women leading deep tech start-up companies from Europe. A total of 160 winner start-ups will receive €75k in non-dilutive grants as well as a personalised business development programme including mentoring, coaching and training.”

The Women TechEU project is on a mission to ignite the potential of women-led early-stage start-ups in deep tech. 160 talented women entrepreneurs from across the European Union and Horizon Europe associated countries will be receiving direct support. With 75k€ grant (non-diluting finance) and a personalised business development programme, the project will be paving the way for these innovators to shine as leaders in deep tech innovation across Europe.

NIHR: Decarbonising the health and social care system

NIHR are looking to fund research into decarbonising the health and social care system. As part of their climate health and sustainability commitments to help reduce carbon emissions and achieve net zero, this cross-programme funding opportunity will run annually for the next 5 years. There will be £25 million total funding available across the 5 years, with a new application process opening each year.

The Life Sciences Innovative Manufacturing Fund (LSIMF)

The Life Sciences Innovative Manufacturing Fund (LSIMF) is a capital grants fund which aims to build resilience for future health emergencies and capitalise on the UK’s world-leading research and development capabilities. The fund will enhance and accelerate affordable access to mature, new and emerging Life Sciences products for both pandemic and non-pandemic scenarios.
