Dr Michelle Griffiths

Michelle is a research practitioner, interested in integrated physical and mental health and well-being, and improving health outcomes for with people with long term conditions. She researches the views and experiences of patients and clinicians relating to healthcare and self-management care, and explore ways that digital interventions, including AI can make healthcare more accessible to patients and clinicians where healthcare services are sparce.

Michelle specialises in qualitative and mixed methods research and complex intervention co-design and evaluation and have experience in university, NHS and charitable sector settings.

Michelle completed my undergraduate degree (BSc Hons Psychology) at the University of Exeter, and my MSc and Professional Doctorate/DHealthPsy at The University of the West of England. She is a currently a Research Fellow in long term conditions at The University of the West of England Centre for Health and Clinical Research and lecture in psychology, public health and biomedical sciences.

Michelle has worked as a Practitioner Psychologist for the past 5 years supporting people with chronic conditions, stress and mental health challenges.
