Shruti Raghuraman

Postdoctoral Researcher
University of Exeter

Shruti’s background is in mental health, and she holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Her professional expertise lies in the health and social care sector, specialising in complex interventions, rehabilitation research, and process evaluations. She is experienced in qualitative and mixed-methods research, realist approaches and the management of clinical trials.

Over the years, Shruti has worked with survivors of domestic violence, collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to design and evaluate community-based delirium rehabilitation programmes, and supported non-profit organisations in fostering inclusive work environments. She has a particular interest in making healthcare research and services accessible to underserved populations in low-resource settings. She is also interested in bridging the gap between clinical research and real-world practice, and exploring the transformative potential of digital health technologies.

Passionate about health equity, Shruti firmly believes that inclusion, diversity, and community participation should be at the heart of the design, delivery, and evaluation of health and social care programmes.
